About Us

The Simplex Golf Society was established in 1999 to promote the game of Golf on the Wirral and wider Merseyside community, providing members with the best golfing experience possible at high quality, value for money courses.

The Society typically holds between 6 and 7 competitions per year, where possible utilising local golf courses and businesses thereby contributing to the local economy. Our members are mindful of the environment in which they play, and act responsibly in the care and maintenance of courses together with the protection of wildlife.

The Society firmly believes in friendship, therefore, at the conclusion of all competitions there is a prize-giving ceremony, where we exchange the highs and lows of the days round over refreshments. Further, the Society continually listens to the thoughts and observations of the members and acts upon them appropriately.

We actively encourage new members of all abilities to join this welcoming Golf Society. If you enjoy the health benefits of playing golf  in a friendly, competitive environment, why not join us!

The Annual membership fee is currently £25.00.
